Eve of Chinese New Year - While everyone rushes home to spend time with their family or to do last-minute spring cleaning, 94th Coy did something special....
The BB Sec 3s and 4s bless the neighbouring HDB blocks (401, 402 & 403) with mandarin oranges. Working in pairs, the Boys combed each level carrying heavy boxes of oranges and bless each house door to door. There were a few voices of skepticism as the people thought we were salesmen peddling mandarin oranges or CNY goodies. These were a minority group. There were many people who were pleasantly surprised by our blessings and welcomed us with their smiles. Many folks bless us with hongbaos, goodies and mandarin oranges. As much as we refused, we still receive several hongbaos (which we decide to give to charity) at the owners' insistence. What really warmed our hearts is that the community is really blessed by our little act of blessing! What seem insignificant has a really big impact in the hearts of the heartlanders - it shows we care. Many times isn't this important? In the midst of our lives, have we took time to show love and concern to our loved ones? It's not the gifts that matters but the act of love and heart...

To the group of Boys who willingly stayed late to bless another block of flat to finish the remaining mandarin oranges,... thank you.
To the event organizers (De Cheng & Joel), well done! Appreciate your effort in making this a success!
To all Boys,...
I hope you enjoy blessing the community. Good work and keep it up! This is the true mark of servant leadership.
May the Lord bless you with a abundant and prosperous CNY!
